STAVANGER
The aim of this project is to activate one of the neighborhoods of the city of Stavanger, Norway, through the food production industry.
With a formalist approach, bearing in mind the image of the surroundings, a landscape of tubes separated from the ground was designed. This great inhabited pipes created space to cultivate inside of them and space for socializing under them. The design also drew inspiration from the main crop of the area: strawberries grown in greenhouses.
The ducts contain not only large greenhouse spaces but also walkways with great views that a allow for incredibly nice promenades.
